Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Baku State University (BSU) joined the Earth Hour international campaign, organized with the initiative of the BSU Volunteers, in collaboration with the IDEA Public Union and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

As part of the campaign, the lights in the university’s academic building were turned off for one hour starting from 20:30 on March 28.

It is noteworthy that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Earth Hour worldwide. Azerbaijan joined the list of countries supporting this global initiative in 2011, and since then, the campaign has been held annually in the country with the support of IDEA. As one of the largest environmental movements globally, Earth Hour mobilizes millions of people in the fight against climate change.
