Staff members of the Career and Alumni Relations Center of Baku State University (BSU) visited the headquarters of the “LANDAU Education Group”. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss cooperation opportunities in the areas of education, career development, and enhancing the employability of students and graduates.
The meeting was attended by Gunel Qurbanova, Head of the Career Planning Department of BSU’s Career and Alumni Relations Center; Senior Specialist Ilkin Sharifov; Career Planning Consultant Parvana Babayeva; Leman Bayramli Pearse, Head of “LANDAU Academy”; Tural Islamov, Director of the Human Resources Department of the “LANDAU Education Group”; and Aynur Hajiyeva, Team Lead for Talent Acquisition.
The parties emphasized the importance of career-oriented activities in the modern educational environment and exchanged mutual experience. Gunel Qurbanova provided information about the projects, corporate partnerships, and alumni-network initiatives implemented by the Center to support the career development of students and graduates, highlighting the “Career Compass” project. She also noted the potential for joint initiatives aimed at expanding employment opportunities for students and graduates specializing in pedagogical fields.
Representatives of the “LANDAU Education Group” gave information about existing opportunities in the field of education, the international learning environment, and career prospects. It was noted that the “LANDAU Academy” serves as a bridge between university life and future careers. Students here acquire practical and pedagogical skills, and upon completing the training programs successfully, they become eligible to work at the “LANDAU Education Group” and other international schools.
During the meeting, the successful achievements of BSU alumni working at the “LANDAU School” were particularly highlighted. It was stated that these alumni effectively apply their knowledge and skills in pedagogy, management, and educational technologies within the modern school environment. This fact was assessed as an indicator of the high quality of BSU’s education and the strong competitiveness of its graduates.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed potential future cooperation.
