A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Kazakhstan’s International Engineering Technological University. The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Rector of the International Engineering Technological University Darkhan Akpanbetov.
The memorandum envisages the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving and aligning the teaching and learning processes at the faculties, institutes, and colleges of both universities with international standards. Within this framework, the organization of conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, and training programs, as well as the conduct of joint scientific research, is planned.
The agreement also covers joint publications in scientific journals, the development of shared academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, the delivery of joint training activities, and the mutual exchange of academic and administrative staff, undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.
Founded in 2001, the International Engineering Technological University is ranked in the 1001–1200 range of the QS World University Rankings.
