02-03-2026

Master’s students specializing in Clinical Psychology at Baku State University (BSU), under the supervision of Professor Elnara Shafiyeva, Associate Professor Maryam Mustafayeva, and lecturer Emiliya Igidova, visited an Autism Center as part of their academic training.

The primary aim of the visit was to reinforce students’ theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and enhance their clinical skills. During the visit, students closely observed diagnostic and intervention processes applied to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Director of the center, Ayten Eynalova, provided detailed information on the institution’s areas of activity, rehabilitation programs, and approaches to working with parents. Clinical psychologist Milana Hasanova then introduced students to therapy rooms and other departments, explaining modern psychological approaches used in practice.

Throughout the visit, students engaged in discussions with specialists and participated in the analysis of real clinical cases. It was emphasized that such practical experiences play a crucial role in the professional development of future clinical psychologists.
