Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Students from the Faculty of Information and Records Management and the Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science of Baku State University (BSU), with the joint organization of their Student Youth Organizations, visited the House Museum of the prominent Azerbaijani composer Gara Garayev.

The main purpose of the excursion was to increase students’ interest in national cultural heritage and provide them with an opportunity to become more familiar with the life and creative legacy of Gara Garayev, one of the most distinguished figures in Azerbaijani music history.

During the visit, students explored the exhibits displayed at the museum and received detailed information about the composer’s personal belongings, musical manuscripts, photographs, and materials reflecting his artistic career. Museum staff conducted a guided tour, providing comprehensive insights into Gara Garayev’s contributions to Azerbaijani and world musical culture.

The excursion attracted great interest from the students and contributed to the enrichment of their cultural knowledge as well as the effective use of their leisure time.
