The first stage of a Civil Court Simulation was held at the Baku City Binagadi District Court, jointly organized by members of the “BSU Volunteers” organization representing the Faculty of Law and the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law.
Within the simulation, participants gained practical knowledge about the course of a first-instance court hearing, presentation of the parties’ procedural positions, examination of evidence, and decision-making mechanisms.
Representatives of the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law delivered speeches highlighting the importance and role of studying court processes based on real-life experience in legal education.
More than 40 students participated as observers in the simulation. The organizers also announced a separate competition for the observers. As part of the competition, students who attend either the first-instance or appellate stage will be asked questions, their answers will be evaluated by a jury, and the top three winners will be awarded certificates and gifts.
