BSU Volunteers Green Initiative: Give New Life to Old Batteries!
15-04-2025
The "BSU Volunteers" organization of Baku State University (BSU) has launched a project titled "Give New Life to Old Batteries!"
With the idea that "Nature is our future, and protecting it is our duty!", the aim of the project is to separate batteries, which cause serious harm to nature, from mixed waste in order to minimize their negative impact on the environment and human health.
It is important to note that batteries contain harmful substances such as lead, lithium, mercury, zinc, and other hazardous materials for the environment. Therefore, the collection of used batteries and recognizing it as a social responsibility is highly relevant.
