Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Baku State University (BSU) has won the Azerbaijan Inter-University Brain Ring Championship, organized jointly by the Ministry of Science and Education, the "3 Sual" intellectual games platform, and the "Bir Könüllü" Students' Cooperation Public Union.

Held on 27 June, the championship brought together teams representing 25 higher education institutions from across the country to compete in a series of knowledge-based contests.

BSU dominated the qualification stage, finishing at the top of the standings after outperforming all of its opponents. In the group stage, the team secured victories over Azerbaijan University of Languages and Khazar University to advance to the knockout rounds.

The university then defeated Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in the quarterfinals and Azerbaijan Medical University in the semifinals to reach the championship match. The final against Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University ended in a 2–2 draw after regular play. BSU claimed the title by correctly answering the decisive tie-break question.

The championship-winning team consisted of Vusal Gaflanov and Javidan Khankishiyev from the Faculty of History, Ibrahim Farhadzadeh and Ravan Farzaliyev from the Faculty of International Relations and Economics, and Jamal Azimov and Yusif Ismayilov from the Faculty of Law.

The victory highlights BSU students' strong academic knowledge, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in one of Azerbaijan's leading inter-university intellectual competitions.
