At Baku State University, a “Career Meetings” event was organized by the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
The main objective of the event was to inform students and graduates about available career opportunities, vacancies, and internship programmes within the Service, as well as to increase their interest in professional careers in the public sector.
Gashem Mammadov, Director of the BSU Career and Alumni Center, provided information about the Center’s activities, services for students and graduates, and areas of cooperation with employers.
Husamaddin Alizade, Head of the Human Resources Department of the Service, and Shamistan Shamistanzade, Head of the Training, Development and Evaluation Sector, introduced participants to the history, development stages, and key areas of activity of the Service. They also presented the organization’s structure, ongoing projects, cooperation with higher education institutions, official social media channels, and opportunities for internships and volunteer activities.
Special attention was given to new internship programmes and participation opportunities within the framework of the “Urban Planning and Architecture Year.” It was noted that students studying fields such as land management, land and urban cadastre, geodesy engineering, ecology, soil science and agrochemistry, agronomy, and agricultural engineering are eligible to participate in these programmes.
The event enabled students and graduates to gain a clearer understanding of career opportunities in state institutions and to explore their professional development prospects. Participants also had the opportunity to directly engage with representatives of the Service, ask questions, and discuss potential future cooperation.
