Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

On October 16, 2025, an awareness training titled “Climate Action and Change Day” was organized by the Student Trade Union Committee (THIK) of the Ecology and Soil Science Faculty at Baku State University.

The purpose of the training was to increase students’ awareness of climate change, its consequences, and ongoing actions in this field, as well as to contribute to the development of environmental responsibility.

During the event, Associate Professor Mahluqa Yusifova, Head of the Department of Geographical Ecology, delivered an extensive presentation on climate action and climate change. She provided detailed information about the causes of the global climate crisis, its impact on ecosystems, and the necessity of taking urgent climate action.

The training was conducted in an interactive format, allowing students to raise questions related to climate change and engage in meaningful discussions on the topic.

At the conclusion of the event, participants emphasized the important role of such awareness programs in enhancing environmental literacy.
