12-11-2025

An event dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the Faculty of Chemistry on November 12, 2025. The faculty’s vice-dean for Social Affairs and Student Relations, Taleh Gahramanov, delivered a speech highlighting the significant role of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the legal, political, and public life of the country. He noted that National Leader Heydar Aliyev played an unparalleled role in the preparation and adoption of the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan, guiding the formation of the legal foundations of the state. Thanks to his visionary policies, the Constitution adopted continues to serve as the basis for Azerbaijan's sustainable development, the protection of human rights and freedoms, and the establishment of a legal and democratic state.

The vice-dean also emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev has successfully continued the political course set by the Great Leader, implementing reforms to strengthen a modern, strong, and just Azerbaijani state based on the principles of the Constitution. These reforms significantly contribute to the development of legal culture and civic responsibility in the country. The event noted that the adoption of the Constitution marked a special stage in the history of Azerbaijan's independence and serves as the fundamental legal basis for ensuring human rights and freedoms. Students gave engaging presentations and speeches on the importance of the Constitution, its role in building civil society, and its contribution to strengthening statehood principles.
