On September 29, 2025, an event titled “The Road to Victory” was organized by the “Young Caucasus Scholars” club of the Department of Caucasus Peoples History at Baku State University. The event was dedicated to the Day of Remembrance.
The program began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs. Faculty members, department heads, and students of the History Faculty attended the event.
The Dean of the History Faculty, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Ibrahim Zeynalov, and the Head of the Department of Caucasus Peoples History, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Irada Huseynova, welcomed the participants. In his speech, Professor Ibrahim Zeynalov highly appreciated the initiative of the department and emphasized the importance of holding events dedicated to significant historical dates. Professor Irada Huseynova underlined the necessity of educating young people in the spirit of national and moral values, fostering loyalty to Azerbaijani statehood, the homeland, and the nation, and cultivating a strong sense of patriotism. She noted that the activities of the “Young Caucasus Scholars” club serve precisely these goals.
Afterward, members of the club studying Regional Studies at the History Faculty delivered scientific presentations on various topics:

Each presentation was accompanied by musical performances and poetry, creating a meaningful and emotional atmosphere.
The event concluded with a collective performance of the musical composition “Long Live My People” by all participating students, symbolizing unity and patriotism.
