Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

An event titled “Epic of the Victors’ Triumph”, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Victory Day, was held with the participation of first-year students of the Faculty of Geography of Baku State University (BSU). The event was organized by Sultan Seyidova and Aytakin Mirzayeva, lecturers of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Speech Culture.

In his speech, Eltaj Jabiyev, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Geography, spoke in detail about the 8 November Victory, one of the proudest pages in the history of Azerbaijan. He emphasized that under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the heroism demonstrated by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces—particularly the liberation of Shusha from enemy occupation—played a decisive role in determining the outcome of the war. He noted that this victory has become a symbol of the unity, determination, and courage of the Azerbaijani people.

The event continued with musical performances, theatrical scenes, dances, poems, and essays prepared by the participants.

At the end of the event, members of the academic staff shared their views and highly appreciated the program prepared by the students in a strong spirit of patriotism.
