As part of the “100 Days – 100 Initiatives” campaign of the Regional Development Public Union (RDPU), Baku State University (BSU) organized an excursion and agro-training for children from the “Azerbaijan’s Children” Public Union – Child Shelter Reintegration Center within the framework of the “Agro School” project.
At the beginning of the event, the guests visited the Aquaponic and Hydroponic Systems Laboratory located in BSU’s unique “Eco Space” project area. Specialists delivered an interactive presentation on the advantages of hydroponic technologies, providing practical information on seed cultivation in water and soilless plant growing processes.
During the excursion, participants also toured BSU’s Museums of Genetics and Evolution and Mineral Resources, where they learned interesting facts about the stages of biological development, geological periods, and the history of nature.
At the end of the day, participants who demonstrated active engagement in the project were awarded certificates.
