Excursion organized for BSU Faculty of Geology students

An excursion was organized for third-year part-time students of the Faculty of Geology at Baku State University (BSU) by the Student Trade Union Committee.

As part of the excursion, students visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum and the Evolution Museum.

At the Heydar Aliyev Museum, participants were provided with detailed information about the rich life path, political activity, and statehood legacy of Heydar Aliyev. The museum’s director, Afat Seyidzade, emphasized his significant contributions to preserving Azerbaijan’s independence, establishing state institutions, and supporting the country’s socio-economic development. It was also noted that his rich and honorable legacy plays an important role in fostering national values among young people.

At the Evolution Museum, staff member Umidvar Malikova informed students about different geological periods of Earth’s history, the origin of life, and stages of evolution.
