Faculty represented at panel in Turkey
A special panel was organized for the staff of the Faculty of Information and Document Management of Baku State University at Bartin University, on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Information and Document Management Department.
In the opening speech, Ahmet Altay, head of Bartin University’s Information and Document Management Department, emphasized that bilateral cooperation has been developing across various platforms, noting that joint international scientific conferences, masterclasses, and scientific seminars have been held, and discussed prospects for future collaboration.
At the panel chaired by Hasan Keseroğlu, professor at Kastamonu University, the dean of BDU’s Faculty of Information and Document Management, Alemder Jabbarli, congratulated the department on its 5th anniversary. In his presentation titled “Information and Document Management in Azerbaijan: From Theory to Practice”, he provided detailed information about the faculty’s history, development stages, and the currently offered programs in Library and Information Studies, as well as Museum, Archival Work, and Heritage Preservation.
