Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

An informative session was held for students of Baku State University (BSU), organized by the University’s Career and Alumni Relations Center and conducted by representatives of the Information and Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA). The purpose of the event was to familiarize participants with ICTA’s areas of activity, priority directions, projects, recruitment process, existing internship programs, as well as the e-complaint system created for receiving citizen applications.

During her presentation, Solmaz Mammadova, Leading Specialist of the Human Resources Department at ICTA, emphasized the Agency’s strong focus on developing human capital and creating favorable opportunities for the professional growth of young people. She noted that ICTA implements innovative projects aligned with modern technological trends and encourages students and graduates to actively participate in these initiatives. The Agency applies a transparent recruitment mechanism and a competency-based approach for evaluating candidates. Additionally, internship programs in areas such as programming, information security, data analytics, and other fields provide extensive opportunities for students to enhance their practical skills.

Shahmar Bayramli, Leading Specialist of the Information Systems and Resource Management Department at ICTA, provided detailed information on the e-complaint system. He explained that the platform enables citizens to submit their inquiries regarding telecommunication (internet, mobile communication) and postal services more efficiently. As all processes are digitized, applications are received promptly and can be tracked through the system. According to him, the platform is designed based on principles of user convenience, transparency, and efficient service delivery, ensuring objective review of all submissions.
