Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

A masterclass dedicated to Science Day was organized at the Faculty of Chemistry of Baku State University. The session was delivered by Doctor of Chemical Sciences Sadiq Guliyev on the topic “Thermal Solar Energy Systems.”

During the masterclass, participants received comprehensive information about the production technologies of selective solar absorbers. A comparative analysis of the spectral characteristics of selective surfaces produced using different methods was presented. The lecturer also provided detailed explanations of the key performance parameters of solar absorbers, including the absorption coefficient (α), emission coefficient (ε), and overall absorber efficiency.

The event attracted significant interest from participants and was followed by extensive discussions on the topic. The masterclass contributed to the enhancement of scientific knowledge and increased awareness of modern energy technologies and renewable energy solutions.
