Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

A meeting was held with first-year students newly admitted to the Faculty of Information and Document Management at Baku State University (BSU).

During the meeting, the faculty leadership congratulated the students on their admission to the country’s first and most prestigious higher education institution and provided information about the University’s history, its present achievements, and its distinguished alumni. It was noted that Heydar Aliyev, who proudly considered himself a graduate of BSU, is among its most prominent alumni, and that the University offers all necessary conditions for students to develop as highly qualified specialists.

It was also emphasized that, like the entire nation, the large community of BSU takes immense pride in the historic Victory and the restoration of state sovereignty achieved under the leadership of President and Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

Students were then informed about the faculty and their chosen fields of study, as well as the academic system at BSU, methods of student assessment, and the organization of examinations. Key concepts related to class schedules, grading mechanisms, lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions were also explained.

The meeting concluded with a Q&A session addressing numerous questions from the students.
