The next meeting of the “Reading Club” operating under the Psychological Support Sector of Baku State University (BSU) was held with the participation of students.
During the session, club members analyzed Of Mice and Men by renowned American writer and Pulitzer and Nobel Prize laureate John Steinbeck, a notable work of world literature addressing themes of friendship and sacrifice. The head of the club, psychologist Ilkana Mansumova, led socio-psychological discussions with participants focusing on the central themes of the work. The analysis explored issues such as loneliness, the limits of hope and compassion, and the characterization of the protagonists.
At the end of the meeting, participants were assigned tasks for the next session aimed at enhancing their awareness and supporting their personal development.
