Another training session was held at Baku State University (BSU) within the framework of the “Adaptation Program,” organized by the Career and Alumni Relations Center of BSU. The event featured presentations by Nazanin Mammadli, Chair of the Marketing and Public Relations Committee of the international youth organization AIESEC Azerbaijan, and Laman Alkhasova, Chair of the Committee for “Volunteering Abroad” programs.
The session began with an overview of AIESEC, one of the world’s largest youth organizations. The speakers highlighted the organization’s history, operational structure, global network, and the leadership, social impact, and personal development opportunities it offers. It was emphasized that AIESEC provides thousands of young people each year with opportunities to participate in international internships and gain experience in a multicultural environment.
During the training, particular attention was given to the societal benefits of participation in social projects and their positive impact on young people’s personal development. It was noted that volunteering helps cultivate essential skills such as networking, teamwork, leadership, time management, and project management. The speakers stressed that volunteering is not only a form of social responsibility but also an important step toward professional growth and career development.
The training concluded with a Q&A session, during which participants’ questions were addressed.
