Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

The event “Our Day of Remembrance, Our Day of Pride” was held, jointly organized by the Student Youth Organization (TGT) and the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of the Faculty of Chemistry at Baku State University (BSU), dedicated to 27 September – the Day of Remembrance.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan and a one-minute silence in honor of the memory of our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our homeland.

Taleh Gahramanov, Deputy Dean for Social Affairs and Student Relations of the Faculty of Chemistry, spoke about the strength of the modern Azerbaijani Army, the heroic actions of soldiers and officers during the 44-day Patriotic War, and the care and attention the state provides to the families of martyrs and veterans. He also emphasized that the memory of the martyrs is always held in high regard by the people.

Namig Amanov, a third-year student of the Faculty of Chemistry and a veteran of the Second Karabakh War who participated in the 44-day Patriotic War, shared his personal impressions related to the war. Additionally, Nazrin Agazadə, a third-year student, recited a poem dedicated to the memory of the martyrs.

A video clip dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War was also presented during the event.
