Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Baku State University (BSU) Chemistry Faculty’s K087R group organized the event “Our Flag – A Source of Pride” on November 9, dedicated to State Flag Day. The event began with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a one-minute silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the integrity and independence of our lands.

Taleh Gahramanov, Vice-Dean for Social Affairs and Student Relations, highlighted that the State Flag symbolizes the national identity, independence, and statehood of the Azerbaijani people. He emphasized that throughout history, the Azerbaijani people have struggled for independence, turning the flag into a symbol of honor and pride.

The artistic part of the event featured students performing songs and dances on the themes of homeland and the flag. The sight of the tricolor flag waving on stage, applause, and the patriotic spirit of the youth added a special color to the event.
