Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

A scientific seminar by a Moldovan scientist was held at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University under the framework of academic cooperation. 

The event took place on 3 December 2025 and featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nicolae Caras from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Moldova, who delivered a seminar presentation on “Investigation of microstructure and mechanical properties in metal alloys.” In his report, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Caras focused on recent research methods used to analyze the effect of microstructural features on the mechanical characteristics and performance of metal alloys. Emphasis was placed on advanced microscopy techniques and experimental results obtained through controlled deformation tests. 

The seminar included a discussion session, enabling participants to engage with the speaker on various aspects of his research and explore future avenues of collaboration.
