Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

A scientific seminar on “Application of Green Chemistry Principles in Secondary School Chemistry Lessons” was held at the Chemistry Faculty of Baku State University. The seminar was jointly organized by the Student Scientific Society and the Department of Chemistry Teaching Methodology.

During the seminar, third-year student and active member of the Student Scientific Society, Jalə Elyasova, presented her research under the scientific supervision of Arzu Paşayeva from the Department of Chemistry Teaching Methodology. The presenter highlighted the importance of an ecological approach in teaching chemistry, the efficient use of resources, and safe experiments. She also provided detailed information on how the main principles of green chemistry can be applied in school lessons.

The event concluded with engaging discussions, during which participants shared their opinions and suggestions regarding the topic.
