Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

A seminar entitled “Victorious Supreme Commander” was held at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University on 15 October 2025 in accordance with the Faculty’s 2025 action plan on social events. The event was dedicated to Victory Day and the 22nd anniversary of the first election of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Physics, Bakhtiyar Pashayev; Professor Irada Aliyeva of the Department of Optics and Molecular Physics; and the Deputy Dean for Social Affairs and Student Affairs, Mahammad Maharramov.

In his address, Dean Bakhtiyar Pashayev spoke about the country’s development path and achievements under the leadership of the President, emphasizing that the long-standing issue of territorial integrity had been resolved and the occupied territories had been fully liberated.

Professor Irada Aliyeva provided information about the decisions adopted to advance education in Azerbaijan, including state programs supporting study abroad and initiatives contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.

Mahammad Maharramov referred to the statements of national leaders expressing confidence in the President’s ability to accomplish significant responsibilities and encouraged students to draw inspiration from his life and activities, to approach their education responsibly, and to strive to become worthy citizens of the country.
