Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

The next specialized Career Fair entitled “A Bridge Toward a Professional Future” was held at Baku State University (BSU), organized by the Career and Alumni Relations Center of the University and dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the historic Victory of the Azerbaijani people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice-Rector of Baku State University for Social Affairs, Student Relations, and Public Relations, Alish Agamirzayev, emphasized that the primary indicator of any higher education institution is its graduates and their level of employability. He noted that the large-scale career fairs traditionally held at BSU have, starting from the current academic year, been replaced by specialized career fairs.

He recalled that at the previous fair, 12 of the country’s most reputable banks presented internship programs and job vacancies in economics-related fields to students and graduates, which resulted in the successful recruitment of a significant number of new employees. At the current specialized Career Fair, 10 leading companies representing the IT and innovation sectors are offering vacancy opportunities, internship placements, and scholarship programs to more than 2,000 students and graduates.

Within the framework of the Career Fair, a range of workshops, seminars, and interactive training sessions aimed at enhancing students’ personal and professional development were organized.
