Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

The psychologist of the Psychological Assistance Sector of Baku State University (BSU), İlkana Mensumova, conducted a training for teachers and parents of the "Hedef" Lyceum within the framework of the "Analar Liseydə" project on the topic "The Role of Parenting Styles in Child Development."

The psychologist provided information to the parents about the concept of "parenting styles," explaining that it is a psychological term describing the behaviors and educational methods parents adopt towards their children. These styles significantly influence the child's development, personality formation, and social skills. She explained the four main parenting styles (authoritarian, democratic, permissive, and neglectful), their characteristics, and their positive and negative effects on the development of the child's personality with concrete examples.

Finally, the ways to build strong parent-child relationships and their importance were discussed. A discussion was held on the role of parents in the psychosocial development of children and how they influence emotional stability and the development of social skills.
