Baku State University’s (BSU) Career and Alumni Relations Center organized a training session on “Career Guidance,” delivered by Aynur Mirzəzadə, Chief Executive Director of “HRENGINIREENG” LLC.
The purpose of the training was to enhance students’ readiness for the job market and to develop their career-planning skills.
The trainer provided participants with information on the core concepts of career planning, personal SWOT analysis, preparation of CVs and motivation letters, stages of interview preparation, and professional etiquette during interviews. She also discussed personal branding, effective use of social networks—particularly LinkedIn—for professional purposes, as well as practical techniques for building efficient professional networks.
During the session, students explored the role of communication skills in professional development, rules of self-presentation, and workplace ethics through practical examples. They worked on real CV samples and took part in an interview simulation. This approach enabled students not only to gain theoretical knowledge but also to test and strengthen their practical skills.
At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates.
