Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

An informative training session titled “Discovering Individual Potential” was held for students at Baku State University (BSU) through the joint initiative of the Faculty of Geology’s Student Trade Union Committee, the BSU Volunteers organization, and the Career and Alumni Center.

The training aimed to support students’ personal development, contribute to the formation of their professional skills, and help them determine the right direction in their future career choices.

Career planning advisor Parvana Babayeva delivered the session, providing detailed insights into identifying individual potential and building effective career strategies. She introduced students to the demands of the modern labor market, the key competencies required to become competitive professionals, and emphasized the importance of self-development and lifelong learning.

As part of the training, participants engaged in various psychological and motivational assessments, along with practical exercises designed to help them better understand their strengths. Discussions highlighted the role of properly channeling individual potential in achieving career success.

Students actively participated in group work, completing tasks focused on teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. These activities enhanced their understanding of effective collaboration and interpersonal communication.

At the end of the session, students received practical recommendations on career planning, personal development strategies, increasing motivation, and making informed professional choices.
