A training session titled “Study Abroad: Your Dream, Your Goal” was organized for students of Baku State University (BSU) by members of the Chemistry Faculty of the “BSU Volunteers” organization in cooperation with the “You will speak” English Language Center.
Taleh Gahramanov, Deputy Dean for Social Affairs and Student Relations of the Faculty of Chemistry, spoke about the impact of studying abroad on students’ personal and professional development. He emphasized that learning foreign languages is a key tool for benefiting from global opportunities and highlighted the importance of continuous effort and acquiring new knowledge to achieve personal goals.
Later, Gunay Rasulova, founder and director of the “You will speak” English Language Center, delivered a practical and motivational presentation on studying abroad. She discussed the preparation stages for studying overseas, key factors to consider when selecting universities, financial planning, and scholarship opportunities. She also provided guidance on the required application documents, including writing motivation letters, and shared her personal experiences with the participants.
At the end of the training session, students’ questions related to the topic were addressed.
