Baku State University’s (BSU) Career and Alumni Relations Center organized another training session within the framework of the “Career Path” project. The training, delivered by Mikayıl Tagiyev, representative of the Central Career Branch of the State Employment Agency, focused on the topic “LinkedIn and Personal Branding.”
During the session, participants were provided with comprehensive information on the functionalities of the LinkedIn platform, the principles of building a personal brand, professional networking methods, and effective profile development. Mikayıl Tagiyev shared practical recommendations regarding proper completion of profile sections such as the photo, headline, summary, and experience, as well as personalized connection strategies and profile elements that capture employers’ attention.
Highlighting the crucial role of LinkedIn in the modern labor market, the trainer noted that the platform is not merely a social network but a comprehensive ecosystem that offers broad opportunities for professional growth. According to him, a well-structured profile, targeted connections, and thoughtful content form the foundation of a successful career.
Throughout the event, students actively engaged in discussions and gained practical knowledge and advice.
