Two students of the “Young Talents” Lyceum under Baku State University (BSU) have become winners of the International STEAM Azerbaijan Festival (SAF 2025), held on 17–19 November at the Baku Expo Center with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and the organization of the “STEAM Azerbaijan” project.
Specifically, Nazira Karimli, an 8th-grade student of the Lyceum, won 2nd place in the “Mechatronics” category, while 5th-grade student Harun Alizade secured 3rd place in the “RoboGames Kids” category.
It should be noted that the festival brought together thousands of students, pupils, mentors, and experts from more than 20 countries, competing across 18 contest categories. The categories covered robotics, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, drone and satellite technologies, arts, innovative projects, and various engineering fields.
