Baku State University (BSU) held a “Victory” concert program dedicated to the 8 November — Victory Day, organized by the “BSU Volunteers” organization’s “KönüllüBand” music club with the support of the BSU Culture and Creativity Center.
Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev congratulated students and faculty members on Victory Day — a holiday of pride and honor. He emphasized that this historic victory was achieved under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, through the bravery of the Azerbaijani Army and national unity. The Rector also expressed his gratitude to the concert’s guest performers — People’s Artist Alim Qasımov and Honored Artists Elnarə Abdullayeva and Fergande Gasımova.
During the program, special guests People’s Artist Alim Qasımov and Honored Artist Fərqanə Qasımova performed “Azerbaijan National Anthem” and “Qarabağ Türküsü,” while Honored Artist Elnarə Abdullayeva presented “Naçar Gedər” and “Azerbaijan.” Soloists, the dance ensemble of the Culture and Creativity Center, and members of the “KönüllüBand” music club performed musical compositions such as “You Are Victorious!”, “Xudayar Anthem,” “Karabakh,” and “Azerbaijan,” as well as “Gaval Dance” and “Heroes’ Dance.”
The concert, filled with the spirit of victory, attracted great interest from young attendees.
