Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

On October 23, 2024, an intellectual competition titled “Zefer Namine” (“For Victory”) was held at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Baku State University (BSU). The event was organized by volunteers from the “BSU Volunteers” organization in honor of martyr Manaf Bəhmənli.

The competition opened with the national anthem of Azerbaijan and a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs. The faculty’s vice-dean, Etibar Əhmədov, spoke about the life and legacy of Manaf Bəhmənli and emphasized the importance of remembering martyrs. A second-year student, Türkanə Mirişova, recited a poem dedicated to the martyrs. The faculty’s head, Nuray Cəfərova, wished success to the competing teams. The event was judged by Vüsal Qaflanov and student Güllü Tağıyeva. Certificates were awarded to the winning teams at the end of the competition.
