BSU Staff Members Took Part in a Tree-Planting Initiative

Faculty members from Baku State University's Faculty of Biology, along with representatives from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Yasamal district branch of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), and the Yasamal District Executive Authority, collaborated on a tree-planting initiative as part of the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World." This event, held in Mushfigabad settlement in Baku, saw the planting of approximately 700 Eldar pines and olive trees suited to the soil and climate of the Absheron peninsula. Participants included staff from these organizations, biology faculty teachers, and eco-volunteers.

The goal of the tree-planting effort, aligned with the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World," aimed to raise awareness about environmental improvement, increase green spaces, and contribute to combating climate change.
