On 18 February 2026, a scientific seminar titled “Synthesis, analytical and biological investigation of transition metal complexes of azo compounds of certain β-diketones” was held at the Department of Analytical Chemistry in connection with 27 March – Science Day.
The seminar was delivered by doctoral student Kanan Agayev. During his presentation, he provided information on the properties of β-diketones and their derivatives, emphasizing their scientific significance and practical applications. He also discussed the synthesis conditions of the reagent used in his research and analyzed the properties of the complex compounds formed with various metals.
The presentation highlighted the analytical and biological aspects of these transition metal complexes and demonstrated their potential relevance for further scientific investigations in the field of analytical chemistry.
The seminar concluded with an interactive discussion session, during which participants’ questions were addressed.
