A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Grand-Agro Invitro LLC.
The document was signed by the Rector of BSU, Elchin Babayev, and the Director of Grand-Agro Invitro LLC, Ramil Azmamammadov.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that strengthening the linkage between science and education with industry and business, fostering public-private partnerships, and commercializing research outcomes are among the key strategic priorities of BSU. He expressed confidence that the agreement will be mutually beneficial for both institutions.
Ramil Azmamammadov highlighted that cooperation with BSU will yield both scientific and practical outcomes.
Within the framework of the agreement, the parties will jointly develop and implement research and development projects, support initiatives aimed at effectively utilizing scientific potential, and enhance collaboration between academia and industry. The memorandum also envisages equipping students with knowledge, skills, and competencies aligned with modern labor market demands, developing their practical abilities, involving them in research projects, organizing internship programs in relevant fields, expanding the material and technical base of research laboratories, improving operational mechanisms, and implementing innovative projects within the scope of academic–industry partnership.
