An information session and alumni meeting dedicated to international education opportunities was held at Baku State University for students of the Faculty of Biology.
During the event, participants received detailed information about international and state-funded scholarship programs, as well as dual degree opportunities. The session aimed to guide students in exploring study-abroad pathways and expanding their academic prospects.
Graduates shared their academic and practical experiences gained while studying abroad. Among the speakers were alumni of the Biotechnology dual degree program, including Edgar Shahbazov, currently pursuing doctoral studies at University of Manchester; Jafar Ashumov; and Emiliya Baghiyeva. They provided valuable insights into academic systems abroad, research environments, admission procedures, and preparation strategies for the IELTS exam.
The session played an important role in increasing students’ awareness of global education opportunities, supporting their academic development, and encouraging them to benefit from both state programs and dual degree initiatives.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the alumni.
