BSU hosts info session on the “CareerPlus” development programme

At Baku State University (BSU), an information session was held within the framework of the “CareerPlus” Development Programme for Students and Young Graduates, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education and organized by the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union.

Chairman of the Student Youth Organization (SYO) of BSU, Harun Mehdiyev, spoke about the role of SYOs in the development of young people. He noted that such initiatives are of great importance in terms of revealing students’ potential, shaping their leadership qualities, and facilitating their integration into the labour market in a more prepared manner. He also emphasized the importance of ensuring the sustainability of such initiatives within universities.

Member of the Board of the Union, programme manager Nicat Aliyev delivered a detailed presentation on the main directions of “CareerPlus”, its structure, participation and selection stages, as well as the wide opportunities it offers to young people. He highlighted that the programme contributes significantly to participants’ career development by equipping them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Chairman of the “CareerPlus Club” of BSU SYO, Huseyn Huseynli, provided information about the advantages students can gain through this platform. He encouraged students to be active, participate in projects, and make the most of the opportunities available for their personal development.

At the end of the session, students’ questions regarding the programme were addressed.
