Students studying in the “Museum, archival studies and heritage protection” specialty at the Faculty of Information and Document Management of Baku State University (BSU) visited the “Intellectual train” exhibition organized at the museum through a joint initiative of the Republican Scientific-Technical Library under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Railway Museum.
Deputy Director for copyright and patents of the Republican Scientific-Technical Library, Azada Orucova, provided detailed information about the exhibition to the students. She noted that the purpose of the event is to present the rich book collection of the library and the scientific-technical literature preserved there, as well as to increase readers’ interest in reading. The exhibition featured rare printed materials and modern publications from the library’s collection related to the development of transport, including railway transport, both in the world and in Azerbaijan. The exhibited examples of scientific, educational, and vocational literature, together with museum exhibits, created a clear understanding among participants about the historical development stages of railway transport.
Along with familiarizing themselves with the exhibited works, students also received answers to their questions.
