Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Fourth-year students of the Biology Faculty at Baku State University (BSU) have begun their industrial training at the Institute of Genetic Resources under the Ministry of Science and Education.

In the first phase of the training, students were introduced to the activities of the Molecular Genetics and Genomics Department and the Embryo Plasma Laboratory. They received detailed information on the principles of scientific research, mechanisms for applying research results in production, and were shown modern instruments and equipment. Students also learned about the conservation, preservation, and efficient use of plant genetic resources at the National Gene Bank.

During the training program, students will gain practical experience in other departments and laboratories of the institute, enhancing their professional skills in their respective fields.
