BSU students visit the “Intellectual Train” exhibition
Students of the “Museum, Archival Studies and Heritage Protection” specialization at the Faculty of Information and Document Management of Baku State University (BSU) visited the “Intellectual Train” exhibition organized at the Azerbaijan Railway Museum through the joint initiative of the Republican Scientific-Technical Library of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Intellectual Property Agency.
Azada Orujova, Deputy Director for copyright and patents at the Republican Scientific-Technical Library, provided students with detailed information about the exhibition. She noted that the main purpose of the event is to present the rich book collection of the library and the scientific and technical literature preserved there, as well as to increase readers’ interest in reading.
The exhibition featured rare printed materials and modern publications from the library’s collection related to the development of transport—particularly railway transport—both globally and in Azerbaijan. The displayed scientific, educational, and vocational literature, together with museum exhibits, provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the historical stages of railway transport development.
In addition to exploring the exhibition materials, students received answers to their questions of interest.
