Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Fourth-year students majoring in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry of Baku State University (BSU) are undertaking scientific and industrial internships at the Institute of Chemistry and the Yusif Mammadaliyev Institute of Petrochemical Processes under the Azerbaijan Republic Ministry of Science and Education.

During the three-month internship program, students work in laboratory environments while observing all required safety regulations. They are introduced to the operating principles of modern scientific instruments and equipment, physical and chemical research methods, and ongoing scientific research projects conducted at the institutes.

The internship also provides students with information on significant research achievements in priority areas such as fuel and lubricant additives, major products of petrochemical synthesis, inorganic materials science, and catalysis. In addition, students are given opportunities to participate directly in selected experimental and research activities.

The program represents one of the key initiatives aimed at strengthening the integration of education and scientific research at BSU through close cooperation with chemistry-oriented research institutions operating under the Ministry of Science and Education.
