Sustainable Development Goals at Baku State University.

Baku State University (BSU) Faculty of Information and Document Management hosted an event titled “Heroic History: The April Battles” dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the April Battles. The event was jointly organized by the BSU Volunteers Organization, the Student Trade Union Committee, and the Student Youth Organization.

The event highlighted the historical significance of the April Battles, the bravery demonstrated by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, and the heroism displayed by the nation’s soldiers. Speakers reflected on the military achievements of the operation and its importance in Azerbaijan’s contemporary history.

Among the speakers were Head of the Department of Publishing and Editing at BSU, Karabakh War veteran and Associate Professor Knyaz Aslan, as well as Doctor of Philosophy in History Leyla Abasova. In their remarks, they emphasized the special place of the April Battles in the military history of Azerbaijan and underlined the importance of fostering patriotic values among young people.

The event continued with poetry recitations performed by students and the screening of a documentary video dedicated to the April Battles.
