An infosession titled “Skin Health in Student Life” was organized at Baku State University through the joint initiative of the “BSU Volunteers” organization, the Education Development Fund, and “Olivia Beauty & Care” LLC.
The Project Management and External Relations Manager of “BSU Volunteers,” Medina Khalilova, stated that one of the main objectives of the organization is to contribute not only to students’ academic development but also to their physical and psychological well-being. She emphasized that such infosessions help young people form proper daily habits and develop a culture of self-care.
The Head Specialist of the Project Management Department at the Education Development Fund, Aysel Maharramova, noted that the “TələbəPlus” card partners include cafes, restaurants, clothing stores, bookstores, entertainment and leisure centers, as well as various service providers. She highlighted that these institutions offer special discounts, campaigns, and bonus opportunities for students, and that “Olivia Beauty & Care” LLC is among them.
Marketing Manager of “Olivia Beauty & Care” LLC, Aygun Mirzaliyeva, explained the student discounts offered by the company and how to benefit from these opportunities. She noted that factors such as a heavy study schedule, stress, and improper nutrition directly affect students’ skin condition, making such awareness meetings important for proper guidance.
Later, specialist Ulker Shukurli delivered a presentation on “Skin Health in Student Life,” discussing skin layers and types in detail. She also explained the correct sequence of morning and evening skincare routines and highlighted the problems that may arise from using products unsuitable for a specific skin type.
At the end of the event, participants’ questions were answered, and 10 randomly selected students received gifts through a raffle.
