A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and the University of Geological Sciences of Uzbekistan.
The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Rector of the University of Geological Sciences Azam Kadirhodjaev.
The memorandum предусматривает the implementation of joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, and training sessions aimed at improving and aligning the educational process with international standards across faculties, institutes, and colleges of both universities. It also includes provisions for conducting joint scientific research, publishing collaborative articles in academic journals, developing joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, as well as organizing training activities.
In addition, the agreement covers the exchange of academic and administrative staff, as well as students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.
Founded in 2020, the University of Geological Sciences is one of the prestigious higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.
