Two fourth-year students of the Geology Faculty at Baku State University (BSU), Narmin Asadullayeva and Bakhtiyar Gambarli, have been announced as winners of the 5th scholarship program organized by AzerGold for students of the country’s higher education institutions. This achievement reflects their high academic performance, specialized knowledge, and professional development potential.
The “AzerGold” scholarship program, launched in 2021, forms a key part of the company’s social responsibility and human capital development strategy. To date, 28 students in higher education and 35 students in vocational education institutions have benefited from the program. For the 2025–2026 academic year, nine higher education students in “Geology,” “Mining Engineering,” “Ecology,” and “Metallurgy” programs, and 15 vocational students, were awarded the “AzerGold” scholarship.
Each winner receives a certificate and a monthly stipend of 200 AZN for nine months. The program aims to provide financial support to young specialists in geology and mining, enhance their professional skills, and expand their future career opportunities.
Participants are also offered opportunities to join internship programs at AzerGold, and upon graduation, they may be employed in relevant positions within the company.
