A group of students of the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU) held an environmental action under the slogan "We are ahead" in Absheron National Park.

The event aimed at raising awareness about the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World" and contribute to environmental protection, with support from Absheron National Park and the Faculty of Biology.

As part of the campaign, young biologists participated in a bicycle ride to promote a healthy lifestyle and reduce carbon emissions to combat climate change.

They also visited Calligonum bakuense and  Astragalus bakuensis plants in the park to highlight species at risk due to human activities and climate change, while emphasizing the importance of ecological tourism in fostering a caring attitude toward nature among students.

The initiative will continue in other national parks throughout the "Year of Solidarity for the Green World."
