A roundtable discussion titled "Emotion and Action: Managing Emotions and Action-Based Steps" was held at Baku State University (BSU) on March 27, dedicated to "Science Day" in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was organized by the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology.

Moderated by Yamən Vəliyev, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology, the roundtable focused on the role of emotions in human activity and personality formation. Participants highlighted that improperly expressed emotions can directly impact behavior, decision-making processes, and social relationships, leading to psychological issues. Therefore, by understanding oneself and expressing emotions, individuals can enhance their emotional intelligence and build healthier relationships.

The discussion also addressed the impact of emotions in various forms—moral, intellectual, aesthetic, and pseudo-emotions—on human activity. The idea that emotions are uniquely human and play a crucial role in managing human actions became a key point of focus during the session.
